John Beuhler’s style has been described as, wickedly funny, fearless and poignant. John’s arsenal of sickly smart comedy is enough to leave any crowd begging for more. He is at ease in front of many different types of audiences, and he is fast becoming one of North America’s favorite comedians.

Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, John Beuhler found his calling early; he could make people laugh. In 1997, at the age of nineteen, John performed stand-up for the first time. The show went better then anyone could have expected, and John was hooked. Beuhler would perform several times per week every week for the next three years, before he was chosen to star in a national comedy special called Chill. In 1999 John won the Home Grown Comedy Competition, earning him a trip to his first Just for Laughs Festival. In the same year he would finish in the Finals of the Seattle International Comedy Competition, be nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award and shoot two more Canadian stand-up specials for Canadian national television. John moved from Vancouver to Montreal in 2002, to conquer new markets. He attracted enough attention to be chosen for the 2003 Just for Laughs Festival, where he performed in the Carl Reiner Gala and once again won over the crowd. A few weeks later John’s stand up caught the eye of Dennis Miller and John was flown to LA to showcase for his agency. Although John Beuhler secured representation in LA he opted to return to Canada to continue developing his stand up.
