About Us

BRIAN BURN has been playing professionally for more than 30 years, touring Canada and the USA from end to end many times.  He has been nominated "Canadian Country Music Keyboard Player of the Year" four times, and has won CCMA's "Back-Up Band of the Year" twice. Brian also went to Afghanistan in 2004 to play for our troops. Over the years Brian has played with many different artists including Julian Austin, Aaron Lines, Chris Cummings, Gil Grand, Gord Bamford, and Charlie Major.

JAMIE MAHN made his debut performance at the age of 4 and spent his youth playing piano, sax, flute, trumpet and bass in various bands. He has performed in the piano bars of 10 different cruise ships across the Caribbean and Central America. After three years at sea, Jamie continued travelling and playing in dueling piano bars across the world including clubs in Orlando, Phoenix, Louisville, Holland and Singapore.

BRIAN AND JAMIE joined forces in 2013 and formed BURN 'N' MAHN. Each year they perform around 150 shows from Vancouver Island to Ontario, as well as playing cruise ships in the Mediterranean. In five years, Brian and Jamie have driven over 300 000 kilometers touring Canada, enough to circle the globe more than 7 times.  They tailor each performance to fit your specific needs and venue, whether it be a small room, a community centre, arena, indoors or outdoors. Whatever the venue, your event will be truly unique and memorable for many years to come.
