PROFILE

Debra DiGiovanni has just been voted as Canada's Best Female Comedian at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards; this was her second win-in 2002 she was voted the Best New Stand Up. This past summer of 2007, Debra appeared on the 5th season of NBC's hit show Last Comic Standing where she was chosen as a top 10 finalist competing against comedians worldwide. She is also a favorite juror on Muchmusic's the hugely popular Video On Trial and can also be heard weekly on CBC Radio One for the “Bleep” show, hosted by Shelagh Rogers. As her fan base continues to grow, Debra will be starting a Stand Up tour of Canada in spring 2008 as well as working in clubs across America.
