PROFILECJ Katz, an innovator in developing provocative food experiences. CJ is a gourmet cooking instructor; a television and radio commentator on cooking, dining and entertaining; and a contributor to several food magazines and newspapers. CJ Katz brings food and dining to life in Saskatchewan with an award-winning website and weekly on-line magazine called Savour Life Magazine. In 2005, this cutting edge media won the Regina Chamber of Commerce Paragon Award for Best New Business Venture. Every week, CJ and her team of writers research what is new and exciting in this prairie province, probing every domain in food and drink, and life beyond Saskatchewan. The focus of the stories is the chefs and the people in the stories – their creativity and commitment to making a difference in your experience, and to Saskatchewan. CJ is the culinary host of The Wheatland Café, a new weekly cooking program broadcast across southern Saskatchewan on the CTV News at Noon. She also teaches a regular schedule of gourmet cooking classes and healthy eating seminars. She has a monthly radio column on CBC Radio 1's Morning Edition with Sheila Coles where she is a commentator on cooking, dining and entertaining. As well, CJ is a regular columnist for Flavours magazine and has written for the Regina Leader-Post, Saskatoon Star Phoenix, and Tourism Saskatchewan.
